Music is the medium.
Musicians made the prayers.
Musicians sang the grief songs, sang tribal histories, recounted ancestral lineages, played the epic poems, animated the mythologies, presided over tribal agreements, sang the sick to life, sang the dead to the afterlife, praised the generosity of earth for the offerings of food, fiber, water, fire, air, and beauty.
Musicians moved the rituals.
Musicians sang houses into being, planted the fields, wove the tapestries, forged the metal, cooked the food, made the tools, initiated the youth, fired the clay pots, and regenerated every culture's cosmological origins.
Music is the Regeneration Message.
